Looking for a healthier alternative to cookies that is still enough to satisfy your cookie craving? Well these cookies are not only versatile, but have no added sugar and can easily be considered a healthy cookie. You only need 3 ingredients, but you can add additional ingredients to your mix such as dried fruit, or even nuts or seeds. Your basic ingredients are as follows:
3 cups quick oats
2 1/2 banana mushed
1 cup peanut butter
now you can add in seeds or nuts, dark chocolate chunks, dries fruit
2 tbs of molasses or maple syrup
But the main ingredients are all you need!
Mix well and spoon out on a cookie sheet to the size you like. These don’t expand any so what you place on the sheet will be the size they will be. I added in some hemp seeds, 2 tbs of molasses, some left over peanut butter and dark chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes and they are done! These kind of reminded me of a breakfast cookie. Something to grab and eat on a busy morning or to bring as a nice snack through your busy day. They aren’t super sweet but enough to fill that craving without overdoing it on the sugar!
